He was born on May 15, 1967 to the late Clyde and Rosalee Short in Burke County.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Angela Short of the home; his children, Abigail Short and Cody Short; sister, Wanda Short Sigmon and husband Ned, brothers, Joe Short and wife Tammy, Tommy Swink and wife Sarah; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Shining Light Baptist Church, 3682 Tom Deal Ave., Valdese, NC 28690. Pastor Danny Castle will officiate the service.
