Lee Calvin Reese

He was born on July 4, 1949 to the late Fred L. Reese and Clara Blanche Reese in Catawba County. Lee was a member of Crosslink Church. He was also a United States Vietnam Marine Corps Veteran, serving in the 3rd Battalion 5th Marines. Lee was employed by Ashland Paving and Construction, as the Asphalt Plant Supervisor. He was a proud Eagle Scout. Lee enjoyed traveling where they has been to all 50 states and several countries.

Along with his parents, his four sisters and eight brothers preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Crider Reese of the home; brother, Paul Reese of Mantorville, MN; nephews, Fred Reese of Taylorsville, Adam Reese of Sawmills; special sisters-in-law, Mary Helton of Hickory, Linda Huffman of Conover; special great-great nieces, Aaliyah Carlson and Marleigh Morgan.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Crosslink Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 until 1:45 pm at the church. Pastor Mark Smith and Pastor Jonathan Reece will be officiating the service. Entombment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park with military honors.
