Linda Louise Dirks

Statesville – Linda Louise Dirks 74 of Statesville went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Carolina Caring of Newton surrounded by her family.

Born on September 4, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Lejoy and Harriet Harper Robideau. Linda loved camping, fishing and her fur babies. Linda was also was a part of the graduating class of 1966 at Monticello High School in Monticello, MN. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Dirks; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ruth and Ben Dirks; a brother, LeRoy Robideau and a brother-in-law, Howie Babcock.

She is survived by a sister, Julaine Babcock; a brother, Harvey Robideau and wife Karen; 3 daughters, Dawn Lillis and husband, Jerome, Brenda Stokely and husband, Daniel and Heather Hedstrom and husband, Benjamin; 2 stepsons, Donald Dirks and Daniel Dirks; 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN at a later date.

The family will receive friends prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or The American Liver Foundation in Linda’s name.
