Lois Dianna Hamilton

Lois Dianna Hamilton, 79 of Vale, NC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on September 14th, 1946, Dianna was the daughter of the late Walter Eugene and Mary Lois Lowery Price. Retired from the Freightliner Truck Manufacturing Plant in Mt. Holly, NC. She was an extraordinary woman who loved Reading, cooking, baking, old houses and antiques. She was the heart of our family and was always there for a loved one in need. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Harley Judson Hamilton, Sr.; her sister, Lynda Passmore; her 2 nieces, Anessa Reinhardt and Cammy Canipe.

Those left to cherish her memory include her 2 sons, Jeff Hamilton and wife, Kim and Harley Hamilton, Jr.; her daughter, Micah Beth Eller and husband, Zac; her grandchildren, Rebecca Marcantel, Ethan Marcantel, Maddie Anthony, Joe Hamilton, A’lora Hamilton, Harley Alexzandra Mayfield, and Olivia Eller, as well as 9 great grandchildren, also, her brother, Tony Henderson and wife Pat and her sister, Tina and husband Derwood Oliver.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Thursday, March 26th, 2026, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest at Catawba Memorial Park following the service.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring in Dianna’s name.
