Louie Marshall Cruse

Louie was born March 31, 1932 in Catawba Co. to the late Woodrow Wilson and Catherine Lucille Mingus Cruse. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Setzer Cruse.

He was a member of Millers Lutheran Church and retired as plant manager for King Hickory Furniture.

Surviving are his daughters; Diane Neal and husband, Charles of Montgomery, TX, Patricia Philyaw and husband, Malcom of Granite Falls and Darlene Weaver and husband, Kevin of Hickory; son, Eddie Cruse and wife, Carol of Maiden; his brother, Jerry Cruse and wife, Margie of Newton; grandchildren, Angela, Matthew, Wesley, Mark, Emily and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Caden and Haley.

A graveside service will be Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Millers Lutheran Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jason Sigmon officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home.
