Lynn Vernon Connell

LYNN VERNON CONNELL CONOVER – Lynn Vernon Connell, 83 of Conover went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2023 at Carolina Caring. Lynn was born on December 4, 1939 in Concord, NC to the late Lloyd and Eva Connell. He was strong in his faith and started singing the gospel at a young age with his family. Lynn was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and loyal friend. He enjoyed golf, fishing, reading and eating at Longhorn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Doug, Pat, Nancy, and Gail. Left to cherish his memory was his wife of 64 years, Carolyn, daughters, Sherry (Mike), Nancy (Larry), Susan; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
