Mrs. Margaret Sue Bowman Hice

MARGARET SUE BOWMAN HICE HUDSON- Margaret B. Hice, 83, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 21, 2015. Born on June 4, 1932 in Caldwell County to the late William and Lucile Bowman. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, “Mamaw”. Margaret was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church in Hudson. Adored by all that knew her, she will be missed greatly by her loved ones. Leaving behind a monumental legacy of love, kindness, and servitude. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Dal J. Hice; a son, Kenneth R. Hice and a brother, Carl Bowman. She leaves behind 3 children, Donna G. Hice, Ray E. Hice and Tommy R. Hice; daughter-in-law, Debbie W. Hice; grandchildren, Robert Hice and wife Amber, Heather Koon and husband Dub, Chrissy Fowler and husband Chad, Jeremiah Cannon, Amanda Jones and husband Cody, Seth Hice, and Danny Hice and wife Caitlin; great-grandchildren, Austin, Connor, and Gage Hice, Jack Koon, Anna, Emily, and Cassidy Fowler, and Estie Hice. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 5 pm at Center Grove Baptist Church in Hudson with Rev. Doug Howell officiating and Eulogy by Gary Grogan. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive from 4-5 pm at the church.
