Margie was born on March 30th, 1937 to the late Charles Wesley and Minnie Reinhardt Propst. She was the youngest of ten children.
Margie was married first to the late Bob Rhoney who was the father of her two daughters.
In 1978, she married the late Harold Cline.
Margie was a hardworking woman. She worked at Century Chair Company and retired from there, only to then help raise her youngest grandchildren.
Margie had a green thumb, giving life to all varieties of flowers in her garden, though she had a special fondness for her ferns.
She enjoyed relaxing at home with a good cup of coffee and a Hallmark movie, an episode of a game show, or a jigsaw puzzle.
Margie also enjoyed spending time with her friends at West End BBQ, often spending hours just sitting to talk and to, again, have a cup of coffee. If not at West End, you’d find her at the bingo hall.
Above all, Margie loved her family, of which she was the indisputable matriarch. She never missed a band concert or dance recital, she never passed on a game of Rummy at the kitchen table, and she was always the one to turn to when you were in a pickle.
Margie is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Houston, Herman, Newell, Arlin, Junior, and Bob Propst, her sisters Alice Sue Lynn, Lorene Kiser, and Helen Harris, her husband, Bob Rhoney, her husband, Harold Cline, and her first daughter, Patricia Rhoney Teague.
She is survived by her daughter Crystal Rhoney and fiance Michael Bryant of Granite Falls, grandsons Chadd Limbo of Valdese and Aaron Rhoney and wife Cori McMonagle of Hickory, her granddaughter Ashlyn Rhoney of Granite Falls, and special friends Joyce Winkler and Lena Davis.
