Margie Yount Miller

Margie was born July 25, 1918 in Catawba Co. to the late Harvey and Mary Cook Yount, Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Miller, a sister, Kathleen Bowman, a brother, Harvey Yount, Jr. and a son-in-law, Leo Alexander.

She was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church and retired from Belks.

Surviving are daughters: Barbara Miller Spencer and husband, Johnny of Conover and Nancy Miller Alexander of Hickory, grandsons: Jeffery Alexander and wife Debbie of Conover and Todd Alexander and wife Kandy of Hickory, granddaughters: Melissa Gaillard and husband, Will of Taylorsville, Janet Spencer of Conover and Sharon Ellis and fiancé, Tony Midkiff of Hickory, great granddaughters: Tiffany Spencer of Taylorsville and Samantha Alexander of Conover, great grandson: Spencer Ellis of Hickory, sister: Jacksie Y. Brown of Hildebran and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday, December 30, at 3:00 P. M. at St. Timothy Lutheran Church with the Reverend Roger Beaver officiating.

The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 – 8:30 P.M. at Hickory Funeral Home.
