Mrs. Marie Lewis Robinson

Marie was born December 02, 1923 in Ashe Co. NC to the late Vinson Arthur and Emma Faye Nelson Lewis.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin O’Brien Robinson who died on November 10,1998, two sisters, Juanita Lewis Whitaker, Lillie Clair Lewis Sturgil and two brothers, Robert Nelson Lewis and William Ervin Lewis.

Marie was a member of Hildebran United Methodist Church and retired from Trapunto Inc.

Surviving is her son, Joe Calvin Robinson , a daughter Janice Marie Rector and husband, Russell, four sisters, Estella Watts of Madien, Zylpha Vanoverof Grassy Creek, Mary Blanche Osborne and husband Lenson of Monticello,GA, Tressie Winebarger and husband J.C. of Jefferson, NC, inlaws, Ella M. Lewis, Margaret R. Anderson, Ruby Robinson,Glenda Robinson and Bill and Jeanette Wedenfeller

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 06, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Hickory Funeral Home with the Reverend Tony Bowman officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Entombment will be private at Catawba Memorial Park.
