Mary Lucille (Honeycutt) Kanupp

She was born on October 26, 1935 to the late Oliver Make Honeycutt and Lela Anne Huffman in Catawba County.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Kanupp; son, Alan Kanupp; and one grandson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Libby Auton and husband Wayne of Hickory; son, Kenny Kanupp and wife Marcella of Hickory; grandchildren, Tasha Auton of Conover, Talesa Auton of Hickory, Katelyn McNeil and husband Zach of Conover, Jon Kanupp of Hickory, Lauren Yount and husband Andrew of Conover; great grandchildren, Harper, Guthry, Bryson, Nyla, Josiah, Jace, Emma, Chloe; and sister, Martha H. Killian of Claremont.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor David Ziehr and Pastor Shea Pennington will officiate the service.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and caregivers at Trinity Village for all they provided to Mary and the family.
