Naomi Ledford Travis Daugherty

HILDEBRAN – Naomi Ledford Travis Daugherty, 89 of Hildebran went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 5, 2025.

Born on July 18, 1935 in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late A.V. and Ida Faulkner Ledford. Naomi was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Naomi had a heart much bigger than her stature.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Travis and Vernon Daugherty; son, Robert Travis; brothers, Lloyd, Leonard, and Bill Ledford; great-granddaughter, Cassidy Travis.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Mark Travis, Daniel Travis and wife Cheryl, Michael Travis; grandchildren, Amanda Carter, Seth Travis, Alex Travis, Aaron Travis, Stephanie Travis, Jeffrey Travis, Jesse Travis, Dylan Travis, Brittany Yoder; great-grandchildren, Elaina Travis, Aiden Travis, Jaxon Travis, Corbyn Travis, Finn Travis; brothers, Leon Ledford and wife Shirley, Doug Ledford and wife Jan, Richard Ledford and wife Jenny, Cecil Ledford and wife Donna; sister in laws, Sissy Ledford, Linda Ledford; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11 AM at Catawba Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 AM – 11 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amorem Hospice.
