CONOVER— Nora Mae Williams, 92 of Conover passed away, Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Conover Nursing & Rehab Center. Born in Rutherford County, on July 14, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edgar and Clara West Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers John Marvin Williams and Joseph C. Williams and her sisters Virginia Williams Wood and Sue Frances Williams Hefner. She is survived by her son Jack Williams and his wife Gail of Conover; grandsons John Patrick Williams of Conover and Michael Joseph Givens of Fort Bragg; great grandsons Caleb, Noah, Hayden, Colton, Lucus, and Zachery; her nieces Judy Hefner Benfield of Conover and Linda W. Collier of Fremont, CA and nephews Johnny Williams of Graham, NC and Bob Williams of Manteca, CA. Arrangements are with Hickory Funeral Home.
