James Barlow, age 68 went home to the Lord on Monday, September 5, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. James was born in Catawba County on December 25, 1947 to Oscar and Macie Cook Barlow and lived in the area his entire life.
Before his illness, James loved to fish and going bowling.
James is survived by his wife of 18 years, Linda Barlow of Taylorsville; children, Lisa Warner and husband Scott of Connelly Springs, Tina Wagner of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Billy Barlow and wife Stephanie of Rhodhiss and Amanda Cleary and husband Roger of Statesville; siblings, Ricky Barlow of Claremont and Frances Angle of Claremont; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
