

Pauline was born September 17, 1926 in Burke Co. to the late Ransom M. and Lula Propst Hudson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Ray Heavner, son, Keith Alan Heavner, three sisters, Edith
Rhyne, Mary Boyette and Myrtle Wells, 4 brothers, Jack Hudson, Alvin Hudson, Willie Hudson and Wilson Propst.
She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, life member, women of the church, Senior Friends and retired from Barnhart Mfg.
She is survived by a daughter, Paulette Heavner Powell of Hickory; sons, Michael Ray Heavner and wife, Ann, of Granite Falls and Jeffrey Scott Heavner and wife, Tina, of Hickory; granddaughter, Brianna Heavner of Hickory; grandsons, David Bumgarner and wife, Emily, of Hickory, Bryan Heavner of Hickory and Adam Heavner and wife, Tabitha, of Granite Falls; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Estelle Ward of Hickory, Dee Clark and husband, Jimmy, of Biloxi, MS and Edna McCorkle of Commerce, Ga and a bro-in-law, Bill Boyette.
Services will be Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 3:00 PM at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church with Rev. Randall Cauble officiating. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:30 until 8:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Adam Heavner, Bryan Heavner, David Bumgarner, Kenny Rhyne, Randy Lail and David Ward; Honorary Pallbearers will be the Senior Friends of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church.
