Peggy Jean (Lane) Clark

Peggy passed peacefully to her eternal rest on September 11, 2022, after a period of declining health. Peggy was a life-long member of Sandy Ridge Wesleyan, where she played the piano for many years, taught Sunday school and faithfully served God and the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Dwane Clark; her brother, Richard Alvin Lane; and a loving sister, Linda Diane Lane.

Survivors include her brother, James William Lane Sr. “Jim” and wife Janice of Hickory; nieces, Ginella Hurley (William) of Hickory, Robin Papas of Hickory; nephews, Rev. Eric Lane (Beth) of Newton, Kyle Lane (Teirsa) of Conover; and Todd Lane of Hickory.

Peggy retired from Shuford Mills, as the Administrative Assistant.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Sandy Ridge Wesleyan. The family will receive from 1:00 until 1:45. Rev. Scott Howard and Rev. Eric Lane will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
