Raimunda Margarita Perera

Raimunda Margarita Perera, 84 of Hickory, NC passed away on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on April 23rd, 1941, in Cuba, Raimunda was the daughter of the late Carlos and Josephina Bonilla Perera.

Those left to cherish her memory include her 4 daughters, Caridad Coello, Maritza Coello, Marlen Coello and Marilyn Coello; her 4 grandchildren, Ingris and Ivett Palmer, Andrea Martinez and Patrick Da Santos, as well as, her son-in-law, Jesus Palmer and family friend, Nelly Curbelo.

A visitation will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

She will be laid to rest at Catawba Memorial Park following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Raimunda’s name.
