Ralph Aaron Hedrick

Ralph Aaron Hedrick, 84, of passed away September 1, 2013 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born September 12, 1928 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Lloyd Earl Hedrick and Edna Cleo Pope Hedrick. Ralph was a member of the St. Stephens Lutheran Church ELCA. He retired from Piedmont Natural Gas Co.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Catherine Olivia Turbyfill Hedrick; sons, Ralph Allen Hedrick and wife Sharon of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Brian Keith Hedrick and wife Dianne of Moravian Falls; daughter, Cathy Jean Hamrick and husband Bill of Quitman, TX; grandchildren, Andrea Slusher and husband Kevin, Shelly Hamrick, Aaron Hamrick, Hanna Hedrick; and great grandchild, Hayden Slusher.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church ELCA with the Rev. Rich Hites officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., prior to the service at the church.
