Mrs. Revonda Kanupp Young

Revonda was born February 8, 1960 in Catawba Co. to Jesse H. and Kay Townsend Kanupp, Sr.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse H. Kanupp, Jr.

She was of the Baptist faith and a former employee of E-Z Way Auto.

Surviving in addition to her parents, is her husband, William Young of the home; her daughter, Tiffany Starnes of Hickory; her son, William K. Young and wife, Patricia of Hickory; her granddaughters Kaylee and Alexis Starnes; her grandson, Jaiden Young; her brothers, Harold Kanupp and wife, Anita of Hickory, Mark Kanupp and wife, Annette of Hickory and Terry Kanupp and wife, Peggy of Hudson; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Lucille Kanupp of Hildebran and Susie Penley and husband, Tim of Newton.

Services will be Thursday, February 16, 2011, at 3:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Rick Fox officiating.

Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:45 – 2:45 PM at Hickory Funeral Home.
