She was born on January 9, 1944 to the late Hal E. Miller and Nina Katherine Miller in Catawba County. Rita was a longtime member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church Mo-Synod. She was a loving wife, mother, Nana, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Bice.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Roger Dale Drum; daughter, Robyn Annette Boleman and husband Tommy; grandson, Joshua Thomas Wong-Boleman and wife Brittany; sisters, Elizabeth Sigmon and husband Darrell, Nina H. Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside inurnment will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2: 00 pm at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod. Pastor David Ziehr will be officiating the service.
