Robert Joe Hall HICKORY Robert Joe Hall, 77, of Hickory, went home to be with his Lord Friday, March 1, 2013, at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born in Biltmore, N.C. May 2, 1935, he was the son of the late Edward Morris Hall and Mildred Jay Camby Hall. Robert was a member of St. Stephens LCMS in Hickory, and was a self-employed accountant. He loved to play golf and do woodworking. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie E. Hall. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ernestine Henzelmann Hall, of the home; sons, Eric Hall and wife, Marian, of Allen, Texas and R. Murray Hall and wife, Julie, of Sweetwater, Texas; daughters, Kelly K. Hall, of Morganton and Amy M. Hall, of Hickory; grandchildren, Jennifer Hall and husband, Todd, of Austin, Texas, Heather Hanzelka and husband, Matt, of Austin, Texas, Kristen Wissinger and husband, Shawn, of Allen, Texas, Kailee Hall, of Sweetwater, Texas and Kenady Hall, of Sweetwater, Texas; great-grandchildren, Levi Hall, Micah Hall, Haddon Hanzelka, Ethan Wissinger and Riley Wissinger. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, March 4, at St. Stephens LCMS in Hickory, with the Rev. David Guelzow officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory. .
