Roger Annis Jr.

Born February 11, 1963, in Catawba County NC, he was the son of Judy Smith Robinette of Hickory. He was employed by Premium Fabricators and Walmart in Hickory. Roger enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Roger was preceded in death by his step-sister, Angie Robinette.

Roger is survived by daughters, Kisha Spence and husband Brandon of Jacksonville, FL, Tisha Annis of Hickory; life partner, Fred Roseberry of Granite Falls; mother and step-father, Judy Smith Robinette and Lewis Robinette of Hickory; step-daughters, Farron Roseberry of Hickory, Fallon Sutherland of Hickory, and Hope Whitley of Bethlehem; sisters, Hope Robles and husband, Art of Bethlehem, Sherri Suddreth and husband Kelly of Bethlehem; half-sisters, Regina Engle of Hickory, Tammy Finger of Newton; grandchildren, Aaliyah Brown, Ella Spence, Tevan Triplett, Graham Spence and Ryan Whitley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory. Burial will follow in the Conover City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
