Hickory – Sharon Diane Roberts Melton, 57 of Hickory, NC went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on May 2nd, 1968, in Catawba County, NC, Sharon was the daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret Roberts. Sharon loved her family, especially her grandchildren and she will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Butch Roberts and Samuel Roberts. Her sisters Frances Hensley and Sue Blair.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Grace Reynolds and Candice Roberts. Her six grandchildren, Harmony Moore, Angelina Moore, Billie Moore, Elijah Moore, Isaiah Moore and Sharon “Ivy” Moore. Her great grandchild Kai’ Jaylen.
A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba County Animal Shelter in Sharon’s name.
