Shirley Jane (Lewis) Setzer

She was born on October 18, 1935 to the late Walter Lovin Lewis and Elizabeth Ann Coker in Catawba County. Shirley was a member of Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Ronald Mull; granddaughter, Jaqueline Suzette Starnes; great grandchildren, Gabriel Sherrill and Issac Shrerrill; brother, Walter Lovin Lewis, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Cecil Filmore Dennie.

Survivors include her husband; Cyril Setzer; children, Carolyn Starnes, Darrell Wayne Mull, Cathy Mull Stephens and Dennis Little, Michelle Mull Wilson and husband James Hal Wilson, Jr., Jeannie Mull Herman and husband Paul; grandchildren, John Clarke Starnes, Joshua Cane Stephens, Elizabeth Stephens Linville and husband Joseph, James Hal Wilson, III, Amber Sherrill and husband Kenny, Katlyn Wilson, Jeremiah Daniel Huffman and wife Brandy, Bethany Diane Huffman, Amber Elizabeth Huffman, Kevin Lee Huffman, Jr.; great grandchildren, Charlotte MacKenzie Linville, River Coley Stephens, Penelope Jade-Grace Stephens, Mason James Sherrill, McKenna Leigh Sherrill, Gunner Gentry Wilson, Liam Gavin Teague, Cohen Alexander Sylus Huffman, Madi Rae, River Daniel Scott Huffman; siblings, David Lewis and wife Harriett, Pinkie Dennie, Patrick Lewis, James Lewis and wife Brenda, Ann Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the church. Pastor Paul Deal will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will include, Jeremiah Huffman, Joshua Stephens, James Wilson, III, Kenny Sherrill, Kevin Huffman, Jr., and Neel Dennie.
