CONNELLY SPRINGS—Michael Stoker, 62, passed away December 21, 2016 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born Steffen Michael Stoker in Montgomery County on February 24, 1954 to Griffin Stoker and the late Elizabeth Ingold Stoker. Mike was a member of Westview United Methodist Church and an avid enthusiast of riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Mike retired after 37 years from Duke Power. Mike is survived by his father Griffin Stoker of Hickory; brothers, Kerry Stoker and wife Becky of Newton, Eric Stoker and wife Lynette of Hickory, and Scott Stoker and wife Tinita of Hickory; a niece Jordan Stoker Beucler and husband Greg of Hickory; nephews Josh Stoker of Hickory and Andy Stoker of Granite Falls and a great niece Raegan Beucler of Hickory.
Memorial service will be held Monday, December 26, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
