HICKORY – Steven “Steve” Pruitt 55 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2022.
Steve was born on January 25, 1967 in Catawba County to Stuart and Frances Martin Pruitt Sr. He loved to golf and was an avid NC State Wolfpack fan. Steve was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Stuart and Frances Pruitt; daughter, Sarah Shook and husband Michael; grandchildren, Emily, Caleb, Josie Shook; brother, Stuart Pruitt Jr.; niece, Ashley Shuping and husband John; and great-nephew, Liam Shuping.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 2 PM at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Claremont with Pastor Tony Martin officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 PM – 2 PM at the church.
A private burial will take place at Catawba Memorial Park.
