She was born on May 14, 1970 to Cathy Owens Hinceman and the late Roger Mays in Catawba County. Tami was a member of Fountain of Life Worship Center. Tami loved her life, family, and friends. She loved God and was a very active member in her church. Tami was a very forgiving person, mother and daughter and was the sunshine of the day.
Along with her father she was preceded in death by her niece, Madison Rose Nunley; and step sister, Johnnie Grosser Anderson.
Survivors include her, husband, Eric Todd Morris of the home; sons, Scotty Brown and wife Brittany of TN, Joshua Morris and fiancé Haleigh of Union, SC; daughters, Melea Harrison and husband Bradley of Morganton, Brittney Smiley and boyfriend Dȳlan of Valdese, Jessica Burgess and husband Aaron of Enoree, SC; mother, Cathy Owens Hinceman; grandchildren, Mia Brown, Brooklyn Harrison, Londyn Conley, Jocie Burgess, Jacob Brown, Alexander Brown, Noah Brown, Grayson Harrison, Levi Burgess, Oliver Dean Morris; brother, Richie Mays and wife Christy of Morganton; sister, Lori Mays and fiancée William Knight of Hayes, NC; nephew, Landon Mays of Morganton; nieces, Mckayla Nunley of TN, Lacey Burgess of Jonesville, SC, Katie Morris of Spartanburg, SC; sister-in-law, Tammie Burgess and husband Randy of Jonesville, SC, Pam Morris of Jonesville, SC; step father, Rick Hinceman of Morganton; and step mother, Linda Mays of Morganton.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Fountain of Life Worship Center. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. at the church. Rev. James Cooke will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will include, Landon Mays, Dȳlan Conley, John Smiley, Bobby Hyler, Mike Allen, and Victor Cornette.
