TAMMY C. TAYLOR GRANITE FALLS – Tammy Jean Cook Taylor, 46, of Granite Falls passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born January 1, 1968 in Norfolk, VA. Tammy loved her family; she was an avid NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan and loved Winnie the Pooh. One of her greatest acheivements was going back to school in 2011 and receiving her GED. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Sally Ann Richardson Cook and Larry Joe Cook. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Shannon Taylor; sons, Ronnie James Taylor and ABEAN Joseph Ray Taylor, USN; brother, Ricky Joe (Tina) Cook; Aunt and Uncle, Rachel and Hubert Cook of Vale, NC, in-laws, Clement Ray & Jody Taylor of TN and numerous aunts, uncles and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
