Tina Denise Bowman

Tina Denise Bowman, 65, of Hickory, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2024 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. Born May 19, 1959, she was the daughter of Pauline Poovey Bowman and the late Melvin Leroy Bowman of Hickory.

Tina was a graphic artist and did many beautiful art pieces for area businesses.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Leroy Bowman and niece, Brandy Bowman.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Pauline “Polly” Poovey Bowman; her many close friends; nieces Megan Bowman, and Erica Bowman; aunt Brenda Beam, aunt and uncle John and Barbara Roock of Bluffton, SC, uncle Wayne Poovey of Lake Norman; great nieces, Abigail Galligher, Elaina Settlemyer; and great nephews, Colton Galligher, Jayden Bowman and Anthony Bowman.

Tina was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and a Service of Remembrance will be held at the church on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2-3 prior to the service.
