Warren “Steve” Lail, 66, of Claremont, NC passed away on June 21, 2014 at Oconee Medical Center, Seneca, SC. Born August 16, 1947 in Catawba County, he was a son of Warren G. and Ruth Teague Lail. Mr. Lail served in the Air Force from 1967 to 1972 and was a member of the Air National Guard for 27 years. He was employed by Lanier with over 40 years of service. He enjoyed camping and watching sports; he was an avid Carolina fan. He loved tinkering with electronics and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Lily Kim Lail, daughter, Sandy Lail Shirtz and husband Jason; brother, Eddie Lail; sister, Sandra Adair and grandchild, Hailey Shirtz. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26th at Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations from 2 – 4 PM. Burial will follow at a later date.
