

Jeff was born December 5, 1927 in Catawba County to the late Hershel J. and Zora Lee Yount Seabock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn L. Seabock.
He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, served on the church council, SS teacher and chief usher, Square Dance Club and veteran of WW II served in the Army Air Corp 5th Station Hospital with the Army of occupation in Japan, an accountant for Four-Hches, LLC and a part time employee of Hickory Funeral Home for over 20 years.
Surviving are his wife, Hattie V. “Bootsie” Seabock of the home; sons, Richard Van Seabock and wife, Debbie of Hickory and Robert Alan Seabock and wife, Shirley of Pearl City, Hawaii; daughter, Donna Alderman and husband, Phil of Raleigh; grandsons, Cameron Alderman of Raleigh and Justin Kirito of Pearl City, Hawaii; granddaughters, Ashley Kirito and Joselyn Kirito of Pearl City, Hawaii; brother, Wilbert W. Seabock and wife, Ruth of Hickory and a sister-in-law, Lila Seabock of Hickory, 3 nieces and a nephew.
Services will be Sunday, September 23, at 3:00 PM at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church with Rev. David R. Keck, and Vicar Katie Maul officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside honors conducted by American Legion Post #48.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home.
