Mr. William Franklin Jeffries

William was born October 6, 1927 in Cleveland Co. to the late Sam and Fronie Garver Jeffries. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Irene Brackett Jeffries.

He was a member of Westview United Methodist Church, veteran of the US Navy in WW II, American Legion Post #48, Masonic Lodge 486 and retired as a supervisor for State of NC ALE agency and Catawba Co. ABC Board.

Surviving are sons, Ronnie Jeffries and wife Tracie of Valdese and Scott Jeffries and wife, Carla of Hickory, granddaughters, Sarah Jeffries of Hickory, Charity Jeffries of Valdese and Nicole Jeffries of Claremont , grandsons, Robert Jeffries and Hunter Jeffries both of Hickory and a great-grandson, Nicholas Jeffries of Claremont.

Services will be Friday, April 2, at 1:00 P. M. at Westview United Methodist Church with Reverend Debra Short officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, 342 Jim Cline Rd., Fallston, N. C. 28042. Military graveside honors will be conducted by N C National Guard, Honor's Guard and the Masonic Rites will also be conducted.

The family will receive friends Friday from 11:45 AM until 12:45 PM at the church.
