Wilma Pearson

Born September 16, 1932 in Cleveland County, she was the daughter to the late Preston and Mary Lail. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She retired from Classic Leather after many years of service. Wilma spent the last five and a half years of her life at Abernathy Laurels where she met a lot of friends and had great care from the staff.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers, Jesse, Paul and Samuel Lail; and one sister, Annie Mae Rayfield.

Left to cherish her memory is her sons, Charles “Chuck” Williams and wife Linda of Newton, Robert Stevenson Williams and wife Debbie of Grovetown, GA, and David Williams of Newton; grandchildren, Cynthia Lavangive, Brandy (David) Napier, Mandy Williams, and Dr. Patrick (Kristen) Williams; six step-grandchildren, Pamela Townsend, Debra Morrison, Seth King, Mark Williams and Janice Williams; and sisters, Mozelle Crotts and Leola Davis.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 11 am at Catawba Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
