

Westbury, NY – Angel C. Quintos, a beloved member of the Westbury community, passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 88. He was a devoted partner to Frank Mancuso for 55 wonderful years. Angel was a cherished uncle, a loving brother to his siblings who predeceased him, and a true friend to many.
Angel had a successful career as an architect at Weidlinger Associates in Manhattan, NY, where his hard work and dedication left a lasting impact. Outside of his professional life, he was passionate about traveling, and his love for the arts, particularly ballet, opera, and theater, enriched his life and the lives of those around him. Social and charismatic, Angel was known for being the life of the party. He was always the first one on the dance floor, spreading energy and joy with his infectious spirit. Whether at family gatherings, celebrations, or community events, Angel’s love for dancing and socializing made him a memorable presence wherever he went.
One of Angel’s greatest passions was his cherished PT Cruiser, a car he lovingly cared for and proudly showed off at car shows across the country. As an avid member of the Pt Cruiser Club, Angel cruised from coast to coast, visiting favorite spots like Niagara Falls, Wildwood State Park, and the sun-kissed Jersey Shore and Montauk. Angel became a well-known figure in the PT Cruiser community, winning numerous awards for his impeccable vehicle. His car was always shining and meticulously maintained, it was a symbol of his dedication and pride, and he loved sharing stories and meeting fellow car enthusiasts at shows and events.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A funeral mass will take place on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 9:45 AM at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 85 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590. A committal service will follow at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY 11590.
Angel’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed.
