Christopher James Heiman

Christopher James Heiman, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born on April 4, 1961, in New York, New York, to James and Betty Heiman.

Christopher was the devoted husband of Eileen for over 35 years. He was a loving father to his daughter, Kerry, and a cherished brother to Jim Heiman, Tommy Heiman, and Dennis Heiman. His family meant the world to him, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will continue to inspire them.

A passionate lover of music, Christopher found joy in the rhythm of the drums and even played the instrument himself. His appreciation for music was deep, and it was a lifelong source of joy. In addition to his love for music, Christopher had a strong passion for sports. He enjoyed watching baseball, football, and hockey, always cheering for his favorite teams. In his younger years, he was an active participant in basketball and baseball, and later found great pleasure in watching college basketball games.

Christopher’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all those who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love for his family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 pm, with Deacon Jack McKenna officiating the services. A private final disposition will take place.

He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
