Born on April 17, 1956, Danny was a man whose life was centered around the love for his family, his friends, and the many passions that brought him joy. He was a proud and devoted father to his four children: Tina Cavallo, Danielle Cavallo Rongo (Sal), Thomas Cavallo (Kristina), and Gabriella Cavallo. Nothing made Danny smile more than being surrounded by his grandchildren, Luca, Nicolo, and Donato whom he adored beyond measure.
Danny was the cherished brother of Maria Pignataro (Joseph), Antonia Weiman (Roger), and Frank Cavallo (Kathleen). He was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Known for his strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the trades, Danny had a lifelong passion for plumbing. Plumbing wasn’t just his profession; it was something he truly loved. Outside of work, Danny found joy in the simple pleasures of life, tending to his garden, making a delicious meal for loved ones, or sharing stories over a home-cooked dish.
Danny's life was a testament to loyalty, kindness, and devotion to family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes in Hicksville, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 11:15 AM at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church, Hicksville, followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
Though Danny is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the gardens he nurtured, the meals he prepared, and the family he loved so deeply.
