Grace E. Alamia

Grace Alamia, 95 years of age, passed on Tuesday, November 28th 2023. Grace was born August 24th 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Donato and Angelina Chiapparine . She was the youngest of 5 children. Grace married the late John Alamia in 1955 and together had 5 children. Julia-ann (Michael), Angela (David), Frank (Annemarie), Kathy (Dennis) and Karen (Leonardo). She adored her 11 grandchildren, Angela, Christopher, Katrina, Dennis, Kristine, Thomas, Matthew, Justin, Jonathan, Lauren and Nicholas. Grace was overjoyed to be the great-grandmother to 8, Aurora, Autumn, Bryan, Archer, Forest, Phoenix, River and Azalea. She was lovingly called Nana by her grandchildren. Grace was adored by all who met her and had many friends, as one acquires over 95 beautiful years. She enjoyed attending the Levittown Senior Center, where she danced and played bingo for over 20 years. Grace touched the lives of all who knew her and she will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Grace will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00PM, 125 Old Country Rd, Hicksville, New York 11801. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St Bernard's RC Church, 3100 Hempstead Tpke, Levittown, New York 11756. A committal service will occur Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Garden Mausoleums, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11739.
