A woman of remarkable depth, Jyoti-ma was worldly and well-versed, carrying with her a wealth of knowledge, curiosity, and perspective. She found joy in both the simple and the profound; whether through meaningful conversation, watching her favorite shows or the traditions she held close to her heart. She had a wonderfully candid and honest way about her something deeply admired by those who knew her as it reflected her authenticity and the sincerity with which she lived her life and her Hindu faith was an integral part of who she was. We take comfort in knowing that her atma continues its journey, at peace and guided by the divine.
She passed away peacefully in her sleep, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and grace. She is survived by her beloved son, Sunil Lashkari; her daughter-in-law, Rupa Lashkari; her granddaughter, Anisha Lashkari; and her cherished great-granddaughter, Sarina, each of whom carries forward her spirit and the values she held dear.
