LeeAnn  was such a beautiful person.  Her sudden passing  was shocking.  When she came into our store (The jewelry Studio) she always had a smiling face which I will always remember.  She was like a ray of sunshine.

I met LeeAnn and Marty over six years ago and had the honor and pleasure being their contractor working on their purchase of a new  home at The Sheffield.   In this business being a contractor at times things are just transactional but working with LeeAnn and Marty was far from that.  From the beginning they instilled alot of trust in me and asked for my opinion in many things.  LeeAnn ended up doing most of the design work but often asked for my input.  Over the years, not often, I would sometimes run into them at the building or just do minor things and EVERYTIME she was just a delight to talk to and laugh with.  I may not be as close as alot of people in here but I miss her dearly.  A true friend.  Rest In Peace LeeAnn❤💔🙏🏾

A beautiful soul with.a vivacious personality. 
Oh, that perennially infectious smile that warms the heart and comforts the soul. 
You were a candle-light to a darkened room.

I got to know LeeAnn because I attended St. Pius X Elementary School with her sister, Lori.  LeeAnn was the perfect role model of an older sister—easygoing, confident, and vibrant.  Whenever I visited their home on Hofstra Drive or saw her in the halls of JFK High School,  she was someone I looked up to and wanted to emulate. In addition to her natural beauty, she had a radiant personality--just like her unforgettable Dad, Sam.  My heart goes out to Lori, Nick, Lynn, and their wonderful Mom, Eileen.  The Tarricone family will always hold a special place in my childhood memories.

Piazzola and Tuminelli Families,

We had the pleasure of meeting LeeAnn several times at family gatherings with the Tuminellis  and at volleyball games where Marcus and Josh played. LeeAnn always had a smile on her face and was very welcoming. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

So many of my childhood memories  from Hofstra Drive are of you and your beautiful boys. Babysitting Adam and Sammy for many years until you moved. The famous story you loved to tell was when one of the boys got a Hot Wheels car stuck in my hair! We always managed to laugh about that.   There were fun run ins over the years where my mom and I were greeted with your infectious smile and spirit.  You were a bright light for so many and will be incredibly missed 💕

I was so saddened by LeeAnn's sudden passing. Our brothers, Nick and Rich became good friends at SUNY Albany back in the day. She and I were luck y enough to have  been in the same industry for many years. I adored her wit and  her professionalism. She will be very missed by all of her families. Blessings.

I was so sad to read about Lee Ann's passing. Lee Ann and I lived across the street from each other on Hofstra Drive in Plainview and we often played together with the other children of the block throughout our childhood.  Her family was lovely--the Tarricones were wonderful neighbors and I still remember their tiny dog Tiger who valiantly stood on the front porch to defend the family from danger. I lost touch with Lee Ann after graduating from high school but wish to convey my deep sadness to Marty Piazzola who I remember as a star on the JFK High School basketball team.

I was so shocked to hear of the passing of LeeAnn.  I just saw her a week before and she was always a bright light when she came into our store.  I am so sorry to the entire Piazzola family and  friends.   You are all in my prayers.

We are all so saddened and heartbroken. 
I’ve known LeeAnn since we were young girls in 4H together living around the corner from one another. She always had a smile on her face as a child and as an adult.  In the past years a group of us formed a JFK Girls group where we would all get together and meet for brunch, lunch, dinner and shows and chat on ZOOM. We had such great  times sharing the past, present and future together. 
My love, thoughts and prayers go out to Marty and all your kids, Lori, Nick, Lynn, mom Eileen, and the rest of your family and friends, who were all touched by this beautiful human being. 
LeeAnn was a force of nature and will be sorely missed.

I am still in shock knowing that I will not be about to hug or call her.  I have worked with her for 6 years and she was the bright spot of my day if I was able to hear her or see her.  She had such a beautiful smile and laugh that brightened your day.  She was one of the kindest, hard working, enthusiastic, forgiving, and fun loving person that have even known and I had a privilege and honor for being her coworker and friend. I am at a loss of words and send my deepest sympathy to her entire family.  She will be truly missed and I will carry her with me in my heart and spirit for the rest of my life.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news. I first met LeeAnn in the ‘80s when she was at Katz and I was a buyer at Y&R.  Whenever she would come by we would sit and chat. Even after we had both moved on, I would run into her over the years, and we would catch up. It was always so great to see her.  She was so lovely and beautiful and funny and smart.  My heart goes out to her family.  Her passing leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew her.

LeeAnn and I met when she first came to JFK H.S. back in 1974 and we became immediate friends.  Though through the years, we lost touch during different points in our lives, we always came back together. Even when we weren’t in touch, LeeAnn was always in my thoughts because our friendship was so incredibly unique and special to me as she was a remarkable person.  Her energy, innocence, sense of humor, compassion and love for life were truly contagious.  I can still see her smile and hear her laugh when we spoke about all of our childhood memories and new memories that we’ve recently started to share.  I’ve spent days trying to put these words down on paper and no matter how hard I try; my words don’t convey just how special she was and will always be to me.  

 Marty, our friendship goes back to high school as well and I hope you know what a special place you have in my heart.  My heart is truly broken for you, the kids and LeeAnn’s family.  Please know that the memory of LeeAnn will live on with me and everyone who ever had the honor to call her a friend.  I’ve attached one of my favorite pictures of us which I thought you might like to have.  Sending my love and sincere condolences.




LeeAnn started selling at Katz TV in the years that I was a Sales Manager there.  While we weren’t on the sales team, we were on the same floor.  Every time I saw LeeAnn, she had a big smile, and
a twinkle in her eyes.

She was widely respected in the business, as was her Dad.

So many years ago in the Summer of 2002, I ran into LeeAnn in the ladies room at the beach in the Hamptons. Beautiful and sweet as always we stayed in the ladies room for quite a while to catch up. She brought me out to say hello to Marty and we all went on with our day at the beach. I have thought of that day often as it was my first day out since my mom had left us a month earlier. The memory of meeting LeeAnn left me feeling so happy and positive at a very difficult time in my life. Of course  that is  who she always was to me and to everyone who knows her. All the Kennedy girls have reconnected  and reaffirmed our bond within the past few years and my heart is so sad to think she  will only be with us  in spirit now. Recently I reached out to her about something not knowing if I should, how she would respond. She was so lovely and so receptive and confirmed to me once again what a sincerely beautiful human being she was. Please accept my sincere condolences Marty and the entire Tarricone/Piazzola family! There really are no words. My heart and thoughts and prayers are with you all.  God has a beautiful angel.  He must have a very special place for her in heaven. ♥️
