Robert Lengwenus, age 80, a longtime resident of Hicksville, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2025. He is reunited in eternal rest with his beloved parents, Herbert and Ella, and his dear brother, Herbie.
Robert was the devoted and loving husband of 37 years to Barbara Lengwenus, and a cherished brother in-law to Carol (Dennis) McGurire, Victoria Grasso, and Eugene Cikota. He was a dear uncle to Sanna (Yost) and Nancy, and a proud great-uncle to Skye and Kayla. Robert will be remembered for his love of family and the quiet strength and kindness he shared with those who knew him.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home in Hicksville, NY. A private cremation will follow.
