Rosemary Ann Balling

Rosemary Ann Balling, age 92, of Seaford, New York, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth and a loving mother to Peter, Gregory (Patricia), Susan (Mark) McMullen, and Maryann (Todd) Endsley. Devoted grandmother to Jessica, Meaghan, Kenny (Jess), Sarah (Andrew), Patrick (Shannon), Mark, Kyle, and Eliana. Cherished great-grandmother to Mckenna, Brynn, and Luke. She was also a caring grandaunt to Christopher (Sheila) and Michael.

Rosemary will be remembered not only for the many joyful memories she shared with her family at Jones Beach but also for her love of cooking. She was renowned for her delicious chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal cookies, and apple crisp—recipes that were uniquely hers and hard to replicate. She also had a deep appreciation for music, particularly enjoying the timeless tunes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, and Mel Torme.

Visitation for Rosemary will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, and Monday, September 16, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 500 S Oyster Bay Rd, Hicksville, NY 11801. A committal service will follow at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590.

In Lieu of Flowers, a contribution can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
