Todd E. Livingstone

Todd grew up in Hicksville, NY where he made lifelong friends, including the Wedlock family, and enjoyed spending summers at his family home out East on Long Island.

With his father Wally (aka “Captain”) coaching at the ice rink at Cantiague Park, he was destined for the ice. Todd went on to play semi professional hockey and traveled with various teams around N. America and Canada.

In 1984, he married Nancy and became stepdad to James and Kenneth. They went on to have two daughters together, Janelle and Laura.

Todd worked for the Nassau county sheriffs department, where he was a corrections officer for 27 years. After retiring, he began working security for the Syosset school district.

Todd was a friendly, kind person who made friends wherever he went. His daughters lovingly refer to him as an “animal and plant whisperer”. Animals always gravitated to him due to his calm loving nature and he had a special “green thumb.” He never missed an opportunity to sit out in the sun.

Todd is survived by his children Janelle Livingstone, Laura Occhipinti (Charles), James Lohmann (Joseph), Kenneth Lohmann (Kattia) and his grandchildren Elena, Olivia, Theia, Charles and Lily. Along with many loving friends and extended family members. Todd will be deeply missed by all who knew him.Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Todd's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. May he rest in peace.
