Survived by her son and daughter-inlaw, Philip L. Bowdler and Thelma J. Bowdler (T.J.), Poughkeepsie, NY. Grandchildren Steven Bowdler and Genevieve Bogdan, Michael Bowdler and Kieran Blauvelt, Kathleen and Paul DeLano. Greatgrandchildren Marissa Bowdler and Mariah Falcon. Stepchildren Sylvester and Kitty Buchalski, Edward and Fran Buchalski, Anthony and Ann Buchalski, Walter and Fran Baumgardt, Lysle Beach, Pauline D’Esposito and many stepgrandchildren and stepgreatgrand children. Cousins Ann and Jack Murphy and their children John, Paul, Christopher and Susan and nieces Louise Polcha, Susan Hollmann, and nephew Richard Hollmann.
Valerie was also survived by her beloved cat, “Rosie” who was the love and joy of her life and her loving caregiver, Patty Matthews.
Valerie was predeceased by her husbands Philip T. Bowdler and Sylvester F. Buchalski, her stepdaughter, Theresa Beach, her sister Frances Wenzel and her mom, Flora Perna.
Valerie loved everyone and everyone loved her.
Family and friends can visit on Monday October 3rd between the hours of 11AM and !pm
