I find it extremely difficult to translate how I feel about you into words. You were everything to me, and ever since you left, I feel lost. You were my older brother, and you taught me so much. You always motivated me to better myself in every activity we engaged in together. We played sports together, we rode bikes together, we worked out together, prayed together, partied together, we fought together, we fought each other, but we still had love for each other. You had a genuine heart, a brilliant mind, and a resiliant body. I have never known a stronger person. You told me the name Andrew meant strong and manly, and you always lived up to your name. Your personality shined so bright, and you could turn anything into a laugh. I learned from you that even though life can be brutal at times, you have to keep your sense of humor. There was never a dull moment when I was around you, and it was always fun. You still make me laugh to this day with your memories. I shall forever carry them in my heart and mind for the rest of my physical life, and when I leave this world, we can share new memories. I could go back and re-live every single moment that we shared and I hope you know I would not change a thing. I love you and miss you Andrew. Andrew always told everyone that he knew all the good in them. No matter how down and out you may have felt he would always want to bring a smile on your face. Always thinking of his friends and hardly every thinking of him self. He had a great hart and a kind and giving soul. He is with the Lord know and I'm sure that he has him laughing all the time because that is what he was best at doing. It is sad that he is not here with us know but there will always be a smile on my face when I think of him. Thank you Andrew for being the person that you where.

Andrew had the kind,gentle,and loving heart that came from Momma.
Andrew had the intellectual knowledge and love for nature that came from Daddy.
He and Leslie shared a love of climbing high, riding the water, catching fish, and playing sports.
He and I both shared a love of music, a gift we received from both Momma and Daddy, dancing and sharing music together. We had so many nights together that we didn't even have to speak, the music said it all.
Andrew would want us to continue to love these things and honor his memory by being the loving and strong Smiths.
I love you all so much, and we will make it!

Andrew always told me he respected me as a father and how he dreamt of family and being a good dad himself. He always made me laugh at the way he picked on Andrea and the kids. He always took the time to play with all the kids, and they were always so excited to see him. His favorite story to tell was the one when we were having Noah's 2nd birthday party and Noah's cousin slammed him in the door. Only Andrew noticed, and he said that Noah came back in the door and slammed his cousin in the face with "a two piece." He was so proud of Noah that day, he just loved being around the boys so much. They brought the little boy back out in him. Andrew, I miss you and I love you brother.

I fell in love with Andrew the minute I laid eyes on him. He was handsome, funny, and sweet. We sat out on Andrea's front porch and had the greatest talk. I never got to know him the way I wanted because he was always so busy, but the times we did share, I will cherish forever! Andrew, I love you and I miss you and I got Andrea's back.

Every time I seen Andrew he was smiling course every time i seen him he was with someone in his family & I know that when they were together with eachother they were the happiest. My boys loved there Uncle Andrew so much, when he came around that's all they could talk about for weeks.. Andrew you were loved so many & will be greatly missed.. Rest with God now, we know you will be waiting on the other side of Heavens gates..

I love you all. We (me and Mike) loved Andrew so much and will always miss him. If you need anything or just want to get away and hang out we are only a phone call away

The only way I am surviving the loss of my brother is to think about the times we got to share, laughing, dancing, aggravating each other, listening to music, sharing a new song, just being around him. He meant so much to me, more than words can even express, and  I hope now he realizes just how special and amazing he is. Andrew always kept my secrets, and was so loyal to me and my family. He made me smile on my worst days, and laugh through my tears...Andrew, please help me continue to laugh. I miss you and love you so much. I will keep HOPE alive. Peace be with you.

   There is such sadness in the loss of Andrew. We share fond memories of Andrew, Leslie, and Andrea as children. As I read of the joy and fun he shared with family and friends as an adult, I can see that grin in kindergarten. Please know that your family will remain in our prayers, as will Andrew. May God's blessing be with all of you.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your son and brother. I can picture Andrew in the music room at IHM with his strawberry blond hair, slight smile, and respectful and mannerly disposition. You will continue to be in my prayers, especially during this difficult time.

Andrew was a wonderful friend to our son, Christopher, while at IHM and at Bishop McGuinness.  The boy's enjoyed joking around and just having fun.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Andrew's family at this time of great loss.

Andrew was a good friend of mine in highschool.  He was one pof the nicest person that I have ever met; and he sure did have one heck of a jumpo shot.

My heart goes out to your family. Andrew is an amazing person and he touched so many lives. He will be missed by many as he was loved by many. Your in my prayers and may God and Andrew always be with you.
