Ann Deal Proctor

Ann Crumpler Deal Proctor died May 21, 2011 at her home following a lengthy illness. Ann was born October 26, 1960 in High Point, North Carolina the daughter of Raymond Lester and Dorsey Crumpler Deal, who predeceased her.

A graduate of the High Point City Schools, Ann was an active volunteer in the community having volunteered for the ARC of High Point and Open Door Ministries among other community nonprofits.

Ann is survived by her devoted daughters, Haley Marie Proctor and Stephanie Leigh Proctor of the home in addition to her sisters, Mrs. David Evan Whitlock, Sr. (Ellen) of High Point and Mrs. Thomas C. Hill (Leslie) and her husband Tom of Moore County, North Carolina. She is also survived by an aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth Crumpler Bell of Clinton, North Carolina and two nieces and four nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday May 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Oakwood Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend David Perry officiating. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Sechrest Funeral Service on E. Lexington Avenue in High Point and at other times at the home of her sister, Ellen Whitlock.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont in honor of Dr. Nash, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
