

Tony was born May 23, 1939 in the Bronx, New York to Anthony Petite, Sr. and Petrina Rampuglia. He was the senior chemist at the Ciba-Geigy Corporation for 42 years. Tony was a member of the Knights of Columbus and had served as the State Deputy, the Knights' highest office for the state of North Carolina, and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in High Point.
Surviving are wife, Candy Petite of Jamestown, step-daughter Christine Blue and Richard Blue of Greensboro, daughter Dawn Green and Marc Green of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and son Mi-chael Petite and Catherine Petite of LaGrange, Georgia, and sis-ter Phyllis Riccardi, of Dutchess County, New York. He has five grandchildren, Eric Turner of Greensboro, Christopher Turner of Snow Camp, North Carolina, Madison and Cameron Petite of La-Grange, Georgia, and Leah Green of Virginia Beach, Virginia and one great grandchild, Carson Turner of Greensboro.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 14 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, celebrated by Reverend Vince Smith, O.S.F.S. Inurnment will follow the mass at the church. The family will receive friends at a luncheon following the mass at the church on Thursday. Sechrest Funeral Service is assisting the family.
