

Brenda was born in Thomasville, May 28, 1957, a daughter of Crawford and Betty Burns Newton. She was a real-estate paralegal for many years in High Point and Charlotte, retiring in 2005. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, a brother in law, Ralph Rosenbaum, a niece, Kimberly Rosenbaum, sister in law, Leslie Fetner and her husband Ricky, and sister in law, Sylvia Hardison. Brenda was an active member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and she loved her Sunday School Classmates very much. She had a heart that loved and cared for all, and displayed kindness to everyone. Brenda cherished and adored her family and friends. She was a bride that was a ray of sunshine in her husband’s life. What a comfort to know that Lord Jesus accepted her into His eternal home.
Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Bryan Hardison of the home; her mother Betty Newton; two sisters, Barbara Yates and husband Mike and Linda Rosenbaum; a brother, Crawford Newton; a special niece, Shannon Yates and two nephews, Shawn Yates and Ralph Rosenbaum, Jr.; God Children Ciera Kirby and Dustin Rosenbaum, and many wonderful in-laws.
A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held Saturday, April 8 at 11 a.m. in the Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 2350 Odell School Rd., Charlotte, NC 28262 by Pastor Clint Pressley. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Graveside services were held at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point.
