Caroline Hunter Hunter Beaver

Caroline was born in Laurinburg, NC on June 4, 1956 to William C. and Ann Shaw Hunter. She graduated in 1974 from High Point Central High School, then attended Peace College in Raleigh, and graduated in 1978 from Elon University. She was a teacher for several years in Wadesboro and for many years was a substitute teacher in the Guilford County School System.

Caroline grew up in First Presbyterian Church of High Point where she taught Bible School, worked in the church nursery, and served as an Associate Deacon.

She loved to do cross stitch and needlework, enjoyed traveling and reading, and was interested in all things “history”. On May 18, 1991 she married Robert “Bob” W. Beaver, Jr. who survives of the home.

Also surviving are her daughter, Ann H. Beaver of the home and one sister, Ms. Jane Hunter of Jacksonville, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, at 2:00 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Dr. Kenneth Broman-Fulks officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center of the church. Inurnment in the church columbarium will be private.
