Cody was an intelligent, and down to earth young man known for his gentleness, strong work ethic, humor, selflessness, and compassion for others. Cody was an amazing son, he was always there to help take care of his parents in whatever capacity they needed. He would constantly come home from Raleigh to assist his dad with at home projects. Cody was also the sibling and friend you could go to when you needed a judgment-free safe space. Cody showed empathy and understanding to all, and would always know what to say to encourage others and add an optimistic viewpoint to any situation. He also encouraged others to work toward their goals, and to make the most out of their lives, just as he did within his own life. You could always be yourself around Cody, and he would always be there for you when you needed him.
