Damin Marcus Stewart left this earthly home Saturday August 28th 2021. Damin was born April 20th 1977 to Terry Lee Stewart and Linda White Stewart. Damin worked faithfully at High Point Regional Hospital for almost 20 years. Damin took great pride in his job, or rather great pride in being able to help take care of his only son Damin Jr. Damin rarely missed work and almost never called out; until his health gave him no choice. When Damin wasn’t at work, he was chilln’ at his house or making music. Damin stayed to himself for the most part, if he spent time with you, that meant you were important to him.
Camel Man, D-bog, Diglow, Big D; as he was affectionately called, always had music on his mind. From his birth until his death, D woke up always surrounded by music. Music and Damin were in sync; from an early age Damin loved music. Damin worked hard for everything he had, never took handouts and made sure everyone knew that!
Damin was preceded in death by his father Terry L. Stewart. Left to cherish Damin’s fond memories are his loving and only son Damin Stewart Jr, his mother Linda Stewart, his sister Nicolia Humphrey (Brenton), his brother Timmy Truman, his closest cousin like a brother Aaron Franklin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Like D ended all his phone calls: “God bless you and goodnight!”
